L'ntervento di Chiara Somajni, giornalista del "Sole 24 ore" si apre con il video dell'istallazione Listening POST di Mark Hansen and Ben Rubin.
presentata al Whitney Museum of America Art December 17, 2002-March 9, 2003 e vincitore nel maggio 2004 del Prix Ars Electronica Golden Nica international prize for interactive art form from Ars Electronica and ORF Austrian Broadcasting.
"" Listening Post is a biorhythmic visual and sonic response to the content, magnitude, and immediacy of virtual communication. This collaborative multimedia installation is composed of a suspended grid of more than two hundred small electronic screens that display fragments of texts culled in real time from thousands of unrestricted Internet chat rooms, bulletin boards and other public forums. Dissociating the communication from its conventional on-screen presence, the project presents the texts according to the frequency of randomly selected words, topics emerging and changing from hour to hour and day to day. A coordinated audio component alternates between musical passages and sections that vocalize certain messages, underscoring the text on the screens "".
Sempre nel 2004 anche Creative Commons e Wikipedia vincono il Prix Ars Electronica Golden Nica .
Ed e' proprio con Wikipedia che Somajini introduce il discorso su internet e la CORALITA' .
Soffermandosi su siti come ohmynews.com e theyworkforyou.com , esempi di lavori CORALI, dove chiunque con o senza qualifiche puo' improvvisarsi giornalista o esperto politico spesso trovandosi in diretta concorrenza con i siti "ufficiali"-
