Thing Editions is inspired by the early online editions of The Thing, the non-profit organization that has been committed to emerging art forms since its inception in 1991. One highlight of these early editions was Peter Halley's "Superdream Mutation" (1993), a digital version of his signature paintings done as an unlimited and unsigned edition for The Thing, one of the first digital prints by a well-known artist.
