Technologies and materials transform the artificial environment and techniques into a fantasy landscape of the new epos.
This paradise also is a mutated world with frozen time where all past epoch the neighbor with the future, where inhabitants lose their sex, and become closer to angels.
The world, where any most severe, vague or erotic imagination is natural in the fake unsteady 3D perspective.
The heroes of new epos have only one identity, the identity of the rebel of last riot.
The last riot , where all are fighting against all and against themselves, where no difference exists any more between victim and aggressor, male and female.

"... Francesco Vezzoli ha realizzato la nuova video installazione DEMOCRAZY:
“Prendendo spunto dalle imminenti elezioni presidenziali americane del 2008 – spiega l’artista - il progetto si articola nella produzione di una vera e propria campagna elettorale, proponendo al pubblico della Biennale di Venezia uno scontro tra due ipotetici candidati a una delle cariche politiche più importanti a livello internazionale. Due spot elettorali, prodotti in collaborazione con due team di “media advisor”, professionisti della politica americana, capitanati da una parte da Mark McKinnon (primo consigliere della campagna elettorale di George W. Bush nel 2004) e dall’altra da Bill Knapp (portavoce di Bill Clinton nella corsa alla Casa Bianca del 1996), contrapporranno due identità, due differenti “visioni” politiche ed umane, evidenziando le fatali strategie della comunicazione elettorale e sollevando interrogativi su come la fama, il potere dei media e la manipolazione della verità possano stravolgere il significato di ‘democrazia’ ”."

FOCUS - Speciale Biennale Arte Venezia - JOSHUA MOSLEY
2007 – Mixed Media Animation, 6 minutes, and five bronze sculptures.
During a nature walk, Pascal meets J.J. Rousseau in the forest. In their encounter they are not able to resolve their perspectives on the nature of things. They continue into darker territories where they meet a difficult reality that sets them apart.
The installation includes five bronze sculptures and the animation. The 3D scanned clay sculptures are animated in a landscape of stop-motion photography. The animation is set to an original score composed by the artist.
