LACONIA: ARTHUMANATURE TOPOS 2007

Laconia creates the First Environmental Art Festival titled LACONIA: ARTHUMANATURE TOPOS 2007 / Environmental Art Festival and aspires to render it a Forum of International Environmental, Artistic and Cultural Discourse in the years to come.

Participant artists this year are Stephen Antonakos, Kostas Varotsos, Vangelis Kiris, Giulio de Mitri, Mario Bottinelli Montandon, Marco Bagnoli, Uberto Petrin, Aldo Roda, Vitantonio Russo, Moreno Gendili and Sinequanon Contemaporay Dance Company.

Artcamp 2007

Artcamp 2007 : Re:use is a one-day un-conference that aims to bring the open, participatory and creative energy of BarCamp to the world of art in an interdisciplinary forum. It is a hybrid conference/workshop/etc event in which participants come together to show work, demo artworks, projects, research or technology, learn new hands-on practices, and talk about ideas.
ArtCamp06 was attended by over a hundred artists, designers, programmers, critics, theorists, curators and practitioners from all fields who presented 30 workshops, talks and hybrid events in a single day.

ArtCamp is a co-production between Upgrade! Vancouver and the New Forms Festival."

The next Rencontres Internationales will take place in Paris in November 2007, in Madrid in April 2008, and in Berlin in June 2008.

All individuals or organizations can submit one or several proposals to the programming team of the festival. The call for entry is open to film, video and multimedia cycles, without any restriction of length or genre.
All submissions are free, without any limitation of geographic origins."
