Theme: Being / to become… being or to become
When the image in movement - the one that we consider as different or of experimental- is so often considered as means to distract even to stun in its creation of spectacular effects, when we expect from it only of the new and still the new, it proves its capacity of word. … It proves that it can react in front of world, against the world as it goes and more still to lead to question.
And on extreme subjects… very precisely on the question of the subject, which for certain would be marked in advance, predetermined and for others a “I” always another, always being. It includes thequestion of the transgenre.
The Edition Eleven of Traverse Video chooses this speech, it waits for works, for tries - because a session opens to the students - which are confronted with “I”, or assume it, or claim it, or metaphor it: newspaper, portrait or self-portrait, question of the body... to you of inventing the others.
