Proyecto ganador de la primera convocatoria del concurso LABjoven Experimenta, convocado por la Consejería de Cultura y Educación (Instituto Asturiano de la Juventud) y LABoral Centro de Arte
El proyecto Situation Room es la destilación de las experiencias de hackitectura.net desde el año 2003 en el diseño y puesta en funcionamiento de diversos media-labs o laboratorios temporales de medios: "Pure Data Beta Rave" en la estación abandonada del Ave en Sevilla, "Okupa Futura: Ciudad Disidente" en el Centro Cívico Federica Montseny en Corvera de Asturias, "La Multitud conectada", media-lab con conexión satelital en La Rábida Huelva, o Fadaiat: libertad de movimiento, libertad de conocimiento en ambas orillas del Estrecho de Gibraltar.
Pablo de Soto es investigador y constructor de prototipos en los campos de la media-arquitectura y la cibernética social. Junto con Sergio Moreno y José Pérez de Lama, forma el kernel de hackitectura.net, una oficina en red de arquitectos, hackers y activistas sociales que experimentan en los territorios emergentes de la espacialidad cíborg compuesta por la recombinación de espacio físico, redes TIC y cuerpos. Ha sido el editor del libro Fadaiat: libertad de movimiento, libertad de conocimiento y ha propuesto y dirigido “Geografías Emergentes” con motivo de la segunda edición de Tecnología, Creativiad y Sociedad en Extremadura. Ha finalizado recientemente sus Estudios de Arquitectura en la Escuela KTH de Estocolmo.
