One Grand Prize, four Excellence Prizes and one Encouragement Prize are awarded in recognition of works of outstanding artistry and creativity in each division. Based on the recommendations of the Jury Committee, Special Achievement Prizes may also be presented to artists who have made significant contributions to the field of media arts.
[Exhibition of Award-winning Works] Wednesday, February 4th to Sunday, February 15th, 2009 At The National Art Center, Tokyo (7-22-2, Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan)
At the exhibition of award-winning works, excellent works recommended by the Jury will also be exhibited.
Award-winning works will be introduced on this official website.
Awardees will be informed of their honors by the organizer by the beginning of December 2008.
Awardees may be requested to submit high-resolution data or videos for the exhibition and other purposes.
