"DLD (Digital, Life, Design) is an inspiring community for the 21st century which features digital innovation, science and culture and brings together thought leaders, creators, entrepreneurs and investors from Europe, the Middle-East, the Americas and Asia. The DLD community meets in various styles and formats throughout the year and around the globe.
From the beginning in 2005, companies and ideas have been sparked and new friendships have been made thanks to this connection of the unexpected. The DLD Conference is a three-day event chaired by publisher Hubert Burda and investor Joseph Vardi. DLD was founded by Stephanie Czerny and Marcel Reichart who can draw on the commitment and passion of a wonderful team, enthusiastic friends and partners.

2008 Seville Biennale

La Fundación BIACS, conjuntamente con el equipo de comisarios de la tercera edición de la Bienal Internacional de Arte Contemporáneo de Sevilla (Biacs3), encabezado por Peter Weibel, lamentan comunicar oficialmente la suspensión del Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos de Córdoba como sede de la tercera edición de la Bienal Internacional de Arte Contemporáneo de Sevilla (Biacs3), cuya inauguración tendrá lugar los próximos 2 y 3 de octubre en Sevilla (Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporáneo) y Granada (Palacio de Carlos V), respectivamente.

Eco-media Open Day | MediaShed

An afternoon of fun experiments to see how we can combine “natural media” with “man made media”. We will be linking together ecology, human bodies and other gadgets to devise ingenious methods of communication inspired by natures own systems of signals, warnings and imprints. Taking inspiration from early media like shouting, carrier pigeons, throwing and the message-in-a-bottle, we will try to turn the ecology of Chalkwell Park into a living switchboard!
