The exhibition comprises five units representing key terms as they are reflected in the focus of individual departments and studios of the Faculty of Art and Design, University of Jan Evangelista Purkyně in Ústí nad Labem. These terms can be seen as forming the Faculty's underlying conceptual basis, firmly anchored both in the latest artistic developments (particularly in photography and new media) and in various areas of design and visual communication. Each section of the exhibition was prepared by two curators who defined their theme through mutual dialogue and, naturally, in communication with the studio leaders and artists displaying their work. This methodological approach opened the door to fruitful debate and critical reflection on each selected artwork. Owing to this demanding approach, the exhibition is not "merely" an attractive art show. Rather, it is a kind of public colloquium offering a direct look into the ongoing process of creative debate about where art stands now and the directions in which it is headed. The exhibition is part of the celebrations of the 15th anniversary of the foundation of the Faculty of Art and Design, University of Jan Evangelista Purkyně in Ústí nad Labem.

In February 2008, the National Gallery in Prague launched the 2nd NG 333 and ČEZ Group Award for Young Artists. This activity seeks to find young talents among artists. The artworks of the selected finalists including the winner will be displayed in the respirium on the 5th floor of the Veletržní Palace for two months.
