PechaKucha Zürich

PechaKucha kommt ursprünglich aus Tokio und lässt sich etwa mit «chit-chat» übersetzen. Es handelt sich dabei um eine ganz neue Art von Vortragsreihe, die 2003 zum ersten Mal veranstaltet wurde und mittlerweile in über 150 Städten auf der ganzen Welt durchgeführt wird. Um 20.20h abends geht es los, etwa vierzehn Vortragende, die in Kunst, Kultur und übrigen kreativen Bereichen tätig sind, treten auf. Anhand von 20 Bildern stellen sie ihre Arbeiten vor. Dabei wird jedes Bild nur 20 Sekunden gezeigt – Ein Vortrag dauert also 6.40 Minuten.
