1000 eventi Gallery is proud to present the first solo show by Samuel Rousseau.
Samuel Rousseau belongs to that rare family of artists capable of playing with meanings to turn them to the advantage of the unusual or, more precisely, the fabulous. Because fable lends itself to become the place, par excellence, of portrayal based on imagination and, at the same time, a way of escaping from the vicissitudes of existence, a possible exit.
Rousseau guides us through the little everyday world, the insignificant and the ignoble, i.e. the non-noble, the universe developed with an excess of new technologies. His art plays with the apparent contradictions of what they share and what sets them apart. He cultivates them in order to lead us through the discovery of the unknown, where only he is capable of opening the doors for us. He is simultaneously a bricoleur, a wise man and a wizard.
The exhibition is composed of video installations and photographs.
