Dalla ricerca scientifica alla forma artistica. E' il percorso che Pietro Antonio Bernabei espone nell'originale mostra intitolata 'Reliquie', che si aprira' il prossimo giovedi' 20 agosto presso la sezione di Zoologia 'La Specola' del Museo di Storia Naturale (via Romana, 17 - ore 17).

L'autore, che svolge una ricerca artistica nell'ambito di contaminazione tra arte e scienze della vita, ha lavorato a lungo nell'ambito della ricerca biomedica e ha isolato una linea cellulare (la FLG 29.1), le cui cellule sono in grado di riassorbire l'osso. Bernabei le ha impiegate per realizzare in vitro delle microsculture, o sculture cellulari, a partire da lamine ossee bovine: una prima serie di queste realizzazioni sono, appunto, al centro della mostra alla Specola."
